Can you do evaluations through telehealth?

Yes. Many forensic and psychological evaluations can be done online.

Are they as good as in-person evaluations?

Evaluations conducted virtually have similar findings to in-person evaluations. Existing and ongoing research supports this.

What do I or my client need?

For virtual evaluations, examinees need access to a private space, a good internet connection, and audio and video. Computers (laptop or desktop) are best, and tablets are acceptable. Completing evaluations by phone is not recommended.
